“ Great little get away off the beaten path with down home people. Great music, drinks and food. Loved boating out in the lake too. ”
“ Visiting from out of state. Relatives took us to this gem. The front is very deceiving. When you walk into the building, you can go straight back through an indoor dining area. We were surprised that it opens into a large dining area on a patio. Lots of seating, including bar, tall barstool seating at multiple locations throughout, patio table and chairs with umbrellas, and picnic tables. Nothing fancy, but don’t let the looks surprise you. The food is outstanding and the service was good. Their hazelnut dressing and their cherry dressing oh my God 12.50 for a corn dog so pizza are items you do not want to miss! Never had anything like it before and loved it! I ordered a burgerserved with fries, a hush puppy, coleslaw, and a juicy burger! Very very good. The fries appear to be a special recipe as well as the coleslaw. Scrumptious do not miss this gem. The drive is worth it. Live music added to the vibe! My only suggestion for improvement would be chairs that might be easier for elderly to sit in. Patio chairs do not move well on pavement. We needed the back support for them so I had to choose that table style. Truly not a complaint, only a suggestion for improvement. Bathrooms are clean, too! Tab was reasonable, slightly higher than we usually choose so this was a splurge. ”
“ We went on the motorcycle, they have parking for motorcycles and now they have cabins to rent too. The food is really good and the cherry dressing that they made there is delicious. The view is spectacular. ”
“ As always my food was amazing. We're a big party of 8 and we typically come once a year, everyone agrees its a must every visit! For appetizers we got steamed oysters, they were amazing and fresh, as well as seafood nachos which I was very impressed with despite being a little hesitant, I ended up reaching for more and more! The fried mushrooms were also great, they're HUGE and the ranch seems to be made in house. I'd never had tuna in any form but canned but I do love tuna and decided to take a risk and try something new, so i got the tuna tataki. It came with a salad and break along with TWO SIDES, its SO much food. By the time i was done with the apps and salad it was nearly full! :) the tuna was amazing, i was worried it'd be raw but despite the pinkness it was cooked and flakey- no knife required. Super delicious. If you like Tuna and steak, you'll love this! The drinks were also reasonably priced and STRONG, I got the swamp water and it was delicious. Our waitress, Summer, was super patient, helpful and kind. Along with being a big party we also have several people with disabilities who need assistance with ordering, she was very accommodating with our requests and didn't make us feel pressured or rushed. She recommended how I get my tuna cooked (I had no idea what to pick), and she had amazing taste. We all were very impressed with her and her attitude! Thank you Summer!! ”
“ We absolutely love this place. It was extremely busy on a Friday afternoon, so if you don’t have patience and appreciate the vibe, probably not a good day to go. This was our 2nd time and coincidentally had Dakota both times. She is amazing and wish we could take her back to Canada with us to work at our family business . My 16 yr old daughter said she didn’t want to leave and wished she could bottle up the positive vibes/feelings she had. We will be back next opportunity we have!! ”
“ A hidden gem off the beaten path. Went with family... twice in 1 week. I live more then an hour away and this place is worth the drive. The food is delicious. Atmosphere is awesome. Service was friendly and fast. They have a cherry salad dressing that is amazing. You may want to wear some bug spray if you choose to sit outside as this place is right on the water. ”
“ Pretty cool "old Florida" type restaurant that has just recently underwent some renovations. It's a really cool experience. Menu has recently changed. Food is very good and so was my service. The new little gift shop next door was cool as well. Food is expensive though. A lunch meal averages about 15-18 a meal. ”
“ We Had a great experience with the service, food and atmosphere in this place. Wow they have a bunch of Employees on staff and they all work together to get your meal and drinks out fast. We hade the blackened catfish sandwich, with spicy fries. And the. Fried grouper sandwich with regular fries. I loved the sauce they put on the sandwich. Also had the battered mushrooms for a appetizer. All were above expectations for sure. It's a busy place so get there before the Rush.. ”
